In Chris Babcock's pre-school art classes,children learn to paint and draw byinterpreting paintings of modern mastersand contemporary painters usingprofessional quality acrylics on the finestmuseum quality cold press papers. Duringeach lesson, Chris teaches her students astep by step method via the right braindrawing technique and basic shading andhighlighting techniques to complete three15 by 20 inch acrylic paintings by the end ofthe eight week workshop.
During this Winter Morning Session, pre-kstudents study and produce their ownversions of Wayne Thiebaudʼs “Lollipops”,Emily Greenʼs “Hippo”, and Julia Gilmoreʼs“Red Wagon”

During each lesson, Chris teaches her students a step by step method via the right brain drawing technique and basic shading and highlighting techniques to complete three 15 by 20 inch acrylic paintings by the end of the eight week workshop.
During this Winter Afternoon Session, pre-k students study and produce their own versions of Wayne Thiebaudʼs “Watermelons”and “Three Cupcakes”, and Yoshitomo Naraʼs “Smiling Girl”.
