In this art class designed exclusively for children ages 4.8 and 5 years, Chris teaches her step by step method via the right brain drawing technique and basic shading and highlighting techniques to complete one 16 by 20 inch acrylic painting on archival paper.

During this spring session, students learn how to draw and paint “Gum Ball Machine” by Wayne Thiebaud

Each student chooses the painting he or she wants to produce and will use only professional grade acrylics. Students chose their own color palette for “Ballerina”. Students will work with the Monet color palette for “Water Lilies” as it is a color theory study.
